Installation is a simple 4-step process:

Step 1 - Wash the shower filter by holding it under a faucet and letting water run through it to remove excess carbon particles (the water may turn grey for the first few seconds).
Step 2 - Clean the threaded pipe of your shower arm with cloth, then wrap the included Teflon tape tightly around the threads (4-6 full turns is sufficient for proper coverage).
Step 3- Screw one rubber o-ring flatly on the inlet fitting of the shower filter (the other one is for standby to increase sealing).

Step 4 - Screw the shower filter onto the shower arm and turn clockwise to tighten by hand.

If additional tightening is needed, use a soft cloth to protect the surface and tighten with a wrench.
